The trustees of the Doolittle Home would like to thank the gracious volunteers that assist us to ensure the success of the activity programs. We have many kind and caring people who work countless hours behind the scene to enhance the lives of Doolittle Home residents.

Pastor William Dudley
We thank Bill for his many hours of work that he dedicates to scheduling our minister for Friday chapel service

Jim Sasso
Jim Sasso has been coming to the home for more than six years to maintain our lovely piano. He provides this service as well as parts free of charge.

Robert Brown
Bob Brown has been the poet of Doolittle Home for more than 11 years. Bob comes in once a month and provides an hour of poetry suited for the seasons and encourages residents to read their favorite poems as well. Bob’s mother Pauline is a resident of the home.

Lynn Sarikis and friends
Lynn Sarikis, Jen Hume, Alice Wschke, and Helen Rochelle continue to provide materials and guidance during the monthly card making parties. We thank them for their availability and lending a hand, assisting residents with their unique creations.

Paula Olliney
Paula Olliney is the owner and handler of Gracie, a professionally trained therapy dog. Paula and Gracie visit each Monday morning. Residents enjoy Paula’s visits and Gracie knows which walkers have treats in them. Pictures of Gracie can be found on Facebook.

Sandy Peters
Sandy Peters has been a lovely addition to our growing group of volunteers. Her loveable dog, Opie brings joy and smiles to our residents. Sandy simply loves to feed our residents and staff goodies such as hot chocolate, homemade candy, flavorful dips and crackers, just to name a few.  Click Here For Sandy’s Video

Marge Howard
Marge Howard, Doolittle Home’s physical therapist, began the assisted bowling program in 2005. Our residents truly enjoy this program as well as Margie’s company. We are pleased that Margie continues to provide this service to the home. Click Here For Margie’s Video

Sherry, Sarah and Rachel Aikenhead
We are fortunate to have Sherry Aitkenhead and her daughters Sarah and Rachel set up bowling pins for our independent morning bowlers. We thank Sherry and the girls for their efforts.

Astrid Bagdosian
Astrid Bagdoian is a weekly volunteer providing individual visits with one of our residents. Astrid’s visits are always welcomed as she brings good cheer into the home.

Beth Ferencik
Beth Ferencik is the facilitator of the weekly women’s discussion group. Beth is accompanied by her much loved dog Elvis. Our ladies look forward to the time Beth spends with them and the countless subjects they discuss. Click Here For Beth’s Video

Scott Perkins
Scott Perkins is a long time volunteer aide to our residents with the assisted bowling program. Our residents enjoy his company and helpful hints.

Marie and Dave Crimmons
Marie Crimmons comes into the home to call the bingo games as needed.  Dave, Marie’s husband has called bingo as well. Our residents look forward to their visit. We thank both Marie and Dave for their kind service.

Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Spier
We are grateful to Alexander and Sonia Spier for their continued generous support of the facility. Their annual donations help to sustain the Doolittle Home.

George Pappas
George Pappas has been very generous to donate ice cream treats to Doolittle Home much to the delight of the residents. It is so pleasant to watch residents enjoy the special items from Dairy Queen that George gives us. He has spoiled us! Click Here For George’s Video

Joanne Howard
Joanne Howard has completed several sewing projects as requested by Doolittle Home’s executive director, Deanna Willis. Joanne also is a generous benefactor to the home.  Behind the scenes, Joanne quietly arranges flowers and leaves a fresh arrangement on the buffet on special occasions. We are grateful to Joanne for her talent, time, and kindness.

Dr. Victor Leung
Dr. Victor Leung comes to the home once a month to assess residents dental needs. Dr Leung performs this duty as a gift of time to the home.

Dr. Iqubal Dhaliwal
Dr Iqubal Dhaliwal is the medical director of the home. We are appreciative of his knowledge and kind caring manner.

Donna Sosnowski
Donna Sosnowski joins Lynn with the card-making group each month. Donna is the mother of Amanda, who has been a personal visitor to Pauline throughout her years at Foxboro High School. Amanda still visits Pauline during college breaks and summer months. We thank Donna for her continued assistance with the card program and Amanda for continuing her commitment to Pauline.

We honor all the volunteers and thank them for their gifts of time, talent, and treasure.  Additionally, we would like to express a grand thank you to the staff of Doolittle Home for their continued devotion to the well being of our residents. The trustees of the Doolittle Home would like to welcome residents, thoughtful volunteers and honored guests to our annual holiday party. It is at this time of year that we remember how fortunate we are to have each other, family members, benefactors, health care providers, and all the remarkable volunteers that assist us to ensure the success of the activity programs. We have many kind and caring people who work countless hours behind the scene to enhance the lives of our residents.

Elizabeth Olson is a new volunteer sharing her creative talents by providing materials and guidance during the monthly card making parties. We thank her for her availability and gently guiding our residents with their unique creations.

Our residents look forward to the time Beth spends with them and the countless subjects they discuss.  Always willing to lend a hand, Beth participates as needed with projects promoting Doolittle Home.

Marie Crimmons comes into the home to call the bingo games as needed.  Dave, Marie’s husband has called bingo as well. Our residents look forward to their visit. We thank both Marie and Dave for their kind service.

Hallie Canfield and Katie Todd are two dedicated young ladies who have proven what commitment means. Our residents look forward to having their nails painted on Thursday and Saturday one on one visits. When Hallie and Katie volunteer the whole house smiles. They show care, caution and safety above all.

We would like to thank Joanne Pratt and Nina DeWolf for a fun afternoon of learning about dollhouse miniatures. Each resident greatly admired Joanne’s unique collection.  They continue to support Doolittle Home by volunteering their time for many events and activities when asked to participate.

We honor all the volunteers and thank them for their dedication to the home.  Additionally, we would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Doolittle Home for their continued devotion to the well being of our residents. Because of your dedication and care we continue to provide top-notch service to our elders.

A special acknowledgement to the dietary staff, who have prepared this extraordinary meal under the guidance of chef Lori DiTomaso, along with Doolittle Home’s cooks and servers Heather Lincoln and Caitlyn Kelly.
